PATS discovery point full

PATS Harrogate has a new show area called Discovery Point designed to assist new companies or those who are exhibiting new or specialist, 'limited edition' ranges to launch to or increase their profiles in the pet trade.

Harrogate’s Discovery Point is now full and its exhibitors are Pooch and Mutt (on stand G12), Moorlands Pet Foods (G14), Auto Slide (G15), Chien Bleu (G16), Tee Zed/Bindaboo (G17) and Homeward Bound ID Tags (G18).

The PATS Harrogate show will be held September 16-17.

Recently-launched Moorlands Pet Foods will exhibit in Discovery Point a complete pet food for dogs that’s new and comes with an intriguingly transparent angle. Moorlands’ packs contain full details about all the food’s ingredients and their exact quantities as well as unambiguous and instructive information about the benefits of using this particular dog food. And the packaging offers a choice between eco-friendly boxes or handy, re-sealable pouches.

One of Moorlands’ founders, Simon Le Jeune said:

"We want to create awareness of our newly-launched, innovative food and there are obviously a variety of media we can use to reach consumers and trade. As far as the trade is concerned we believe that the most effective communications strategy is the old fashioned "face to face" method.

"Research revealed that the absolute best way to reach a large number of the trade in a short amount of time was to exhibit at the PATS show. With their statistics of 1000-plus independent retailers and an excellent number of multiples PATS provides the perfect platform for our initial trade launch."

Erin Boyd WILL launch to the trade Chien Bleu; the UK’s first specialist, luxury tour operator for travellers and their dogs. sHE SAID: "Frustrated with not being able to find sound advice on where Blue and I could travel, I decided to create the service I always wished existed."

Dogmatic returns to PATS in Harrogate’s Hall B, stand J19, having last taken part in 2009, the year PATS was launched. Zoe Lewsley saID: "We view PATS as a real chance for people to see who we are. This show is an extended opportunity to greet old friends, to meet new customers and to demonstrate our range of products.  In particular, we will be showcasing our best selling Padded Cushioned Webbing range now with an adjustable, centrally fastening clasp. This has proven a huge hit with both Trade and the general public. "
