Passion 4 Orchids founder launches online members' club

Orchid photography company Passion 4 Orchids has launched an online members' club offering expert advice on the plants.

The firm, set up by photographer Michael Morris, has teamed up with specialist orchid growers Jeff Hutchings and Ray Creek to create the Passion 4 Orchids Club, which supplies plants as well as images of orchids.

In addition, experts from Ivens Orchids in St Albans and Burnham Nurseries in Devon will offer advice to members. Morris declared that the club had already proved to be a success. "We have got 900 members in the first four weeks," he said.

Passion 4 Orchids has also developed a relationship with male cancer charity Orchid and is contributing five per cent of its sales to the organisation.

During the RHS London Orchid Show at the Horticultural Halls last month, Morris presented the charity with an engraved orchid bowl to mark the partnership.
