Parks experts discuss methods to secure funding

Parks experts will discuss how to maximise income for green spaces at an APSE seminar today (25 March).

The session - Managing parks in the age of financial austerity - will focus on parks cuts and income streams.

Speakers include:

  • Preston City Council corporate director of environment Mick Lovatt
  • Halton Borough Council landscape services divisional manager Paul Wright
  • London Borough of Richmond upon Thames head of parks and open spaces David Allister
  • APSE assistant chief executive Mark Bramah
  • Nottingham City Council head of parks and open spaces Eddie Curry

The conference is being held at Manchester Thistle Hotel.
