Park plays key role in £500-million scheme

A new park is one of the features of a £500 million development in Renfrewshire, Scotland.

The Renfrew Riverside development will include 2,000 homes, a marina and business and retail space alongside the River Clyde. A number of groups have teamed up to back the development. The leader of Renfrewshire Council, councillor Jim Harkins, said it represented a s“major opportunity for us to work together to transform the area, make a lasting impression on the quality of our environment and secure substantial employment opportunities”.
