Oxford park opens play area

A new play area opened at Cutteslowe Park in Oxford last week. It cost more than £100,000 and was installed by the city council's parks and open spaces team.

It transformed a disused bowls green into an area for older children with a climbing frame, zip wire, boardwalk and footpaths, said head of leisure and parks Ian Brooke.
