Orchids supplied for annual festival at Kew

Garden Centre Fresh (GCF) is working in partnership with Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to supply an exclusive range of orchids for Kew's annual Orchid Festival.

GCF, the Devon-based supplier of Dutch imported outdoor and indoor plants into UK garden centres, is supplying Kew Garden Retail with the orchids for the month-long Orchid Festival, which runs at the gardens until 9 March.

Jessica Cahoon, the Kew Garden Shop horticulture buyer who spent two days with GCF at its recent pre-season show (HW, 7 February), said: "I was so inspired with what I saw at the GCF show I immediately set to work with the guys at GCF and pulled together an exclusive range of orchids for our Orchid Festival."

Phalaenopsis 'Diamond Sky' will be exclusively premiered at the festival this year and will be available from the Kew shop.
