Open meeting to look at management of Phytophthora and latest research results

The Food & Environment Research Agency is organising an open meeting on Phytophthora ramorum.

It will present results from the third-year review of its disease management programme, alongside results from recent research.

The latest review of Phytophthora in March, found that the geographical distribution of the disease had not changed significantly from the South West, South Wales coast and the North West, with nearly all infected sites found in relatively close proximity within each area.

The meeting is at the University of Bristol on 15 May 2012. To register, email or call 01904 462520.
