Has your production or farm team achieved the seemingly impossible this year? Are you winning outstanding plaudits from your customers for service or the quality of your product? Have you made a significant contribution to the success of a commercial horticulture business?
If so, you should be entering the Grower of the Year Awards 2009, which is launched today.
The awards will celebrate the very best in growing practices, product innovation, marketing, research and individual achievement across the edibles and ornamentals sectors this year.
Organised for the third year running by Horticulture Week and Grower, this year's winners will be announced at the Grower of the Year Awards dinner on 26 February 2009 at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel. The Grower of the Year Awards dinner is the social and networking event of the year for everyone involved in production horticulture.
Again, the Grower of the Year Awards will be judged by a 12-strong panel of independent industry experts drawn from across all sectors of production horticulture, ensuring that the highest standards are met.
It's easy to enter
Competition for these coveted awards grows every year - entries for the 2008 awards were up by 60 per cent on 2007.
