Notcutts garden centres extends pop-up Christmas shop trend

Garden centre pop-up Christmas shops are burgeoning with Notcutts opening its Deck The Halls, in theCentre: MK, Milton Keynes last week.

The first Notcutts Christmas shop opened at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent two weeks ago.

Webbs has five Christmas shops this year and Garden & Leisure has also entered the Christmas shop market, which sees garden centres open temporary Christmas retail outlets at shopping centres.

Notcutts Chief Executive Andy King said: "We wanted to bring the best of Notcutts’ Christmas to the high street.

"We looked at a number of different locations across England and chose thecentre:MK because of its high footfall and the opportunity to bring Notcutts’ Christmas to a whole new area. 

"We know that our Christmas displays make our garden centres a festive destination for families and we are looking forward to seeing the response from Milton Keynes shoppers."
