Norfolk garden centre set to move

West Norfolk Council's planning committee has been advised to grant full permission for Thaxters Garden Centre to move site.

The £1.5m move will see Thaxters Garden Centre relocate to a site it uses for storage in Dersingham.

Director Richard Thaxter said the move would create five full time jobs but was unlikely to take place for 18 months because of the economic climate.

Plans for the new garden centre incorporate an 82-space car park.
