New Tenders - Landscape architecture

Landscape architect and conservation architect needed.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales in Carmarthenshire is looking for a landscape architect and a conservation architect as part of a consultant design team.

The garden has HLF and other funding to undertake the first (development) stage of a project to restore a Regency water-park within the parkland of the Middleton estate.

Much of the parkland is a National Nature Reserve and so the garden is seeking pre-qualification submissions from multi-disciplinary design teams, which are engineer or architect led, to undertake surveys, investigations and design development for the restoration of an early 19th century water-park landscape.

The consultancy contract will initially be for the design development through RIBA Stages 2 and 3. Subject to a successful Round 2 application to the HLF for further funding, the consultancy contract may be extended through the project delivery.

Contact project manager Judith Teasdale on 01558667178 or with any questions.

The deadline for applications is 30 March at noon and invitations to tender will be sent out on 20 April.
