New opportunities at Saltex

This week's Saltex trade show will, as always, provide a fantastic opportunity for professionals concerned with grounds care, sports, amenities, estates and parks to catch up with the very latest developments from machinery, kit and services suppliers.

As premier media partner to the show, the Horticulture Week team will be there in force - including technical editor Sally Drury, who with her panel of WhatKit? Product of the Year Awards judges will be making the most of the opportunity for a final look at a number of contenders for this year's WhatKit? Pedestrian Mower of the Year, Ride-On Mower of the Year and Tractor-Mounted Mower of the Year. The shortlists will be revealed at the show.

You can begin your preparations with our preview giving you a taste of the new products on show and other highlights at this year's event, opening at its new home in Birmingham's NEC tomorrow (4 November).

Aside from catching up with the latest developments, trade shows offer the chance to source new ideas and share best practice - and much of this will be taking place in the considerably expanded seminar offering that promises to be a real highlight of the show.

Visitors this year will also get the chance to catch up with a number of returners to the show - IPU Group, for instance, known for the Ferris zero-turn and Wright mowers. There is also a bigger presence from seeds firms this year - and new companies such as Bosch exhibiting.

And don't forget to drop by our stand where the Horticulture Week team looks forward to welcoming you. Take out a subscription to Horticulture Week at the show and we'll enter you for the chance to win a Mini iPad!

We look forward to seeing you on stand M025!
