The five - Rijk Zwaan, Enza Zaden, Bayer CropScience (Nunhems), Westland Seeds and Eminent Seeds - will open their demonstration glasshouses, located close to one another in the Westland region, on 11 & 12 June.

Visitors will be able to sample commercial and pre-commercial varieties, and get expert advice on variety selection.

Co-organizer of the event Maurice Wubben said: "With five breeding companies participating, the VegetableTrials provide added value to Dutch horticulture, to the GreenTech exhibition, for the companies themselves and especially for the visitor."

Visitors are advised to pre-register at www.vegetabletrials.nl.
