Multi-million pound arboricultural tender on offer

Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council has issued a DPS for arboriculture services worth £5,000,000 (£5m).

The contract forms an integral part of the council’s tree risk management programme (TRMI). The successful contractor will therefore be expected to fully engage with BCP's arboricultural team to help deliver it.

The contract is made up for four main elements:

  1. A programme of annualised works
  2. A programme of routine works
  3. Issuing of additional work orders for tree surgery operations based on hourly rates or operations that have a specified value within the contract and a mixture of both.
  4. Emergency Response

The initial contract duration is eight years, with options to extend annually for a further two years (8+1+1).

The anticipated start date of the contract is April 1 2022.

The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is September 16 2021.
