MITIE has secured a three-year integrated facilities management contract with Santander, worth £100m and covering 33 sites across the UK. Central to the contract is integrating the facilities management teams from Alliance & Leicester, Abbey and GE Money as they rebrand as Santander.
The contract includes soft and hard services, involving 450 employees transferred into MITIE. Account director Martin Lewis said: "Our proposal delivered on several fronts that ensure both cost savings and added value across the contract."
In addition, Sodexo has signed a three-year deal with Nokia to provide services on five sites. The work includes cleaning, landscaping and waste management and is valued at £3.7m. About 130 employees will work on the contract.
