Mike Gilbert leaves Hammond Phillips to set up Gilbert Evans garden centre agency

Garden centre estate agent Mike Gilbert has left Hammond Phillips to establish his own practice, Gilbert Evans.

He will continue to specialise in garden centre and retail property focusing on: sales and acquisitions, concession advice, development consultancy, valuations and rating.

Gilbert said: "Over the past 12 years or so I have been fortunate to have been involved in the sale, acquisition, letting and/or development of some of the largest and most successful garden centres in the country, including Bicester Avenue, Rivendell Nurseries, Roundstone Garden Centre and many others."

Two Hammond Phillips professional services department directors have moved to join Gilbert, David Gilbert and Allen Evans.

Andrew Hamilton and Stephen Camplin, who is merging Hammond Philips' out of town department with its garden centre department, will now work on garden centres at Hammond Phillips.
