The full-sized pitches will include one where grounds staff can change the turf to match the surface the team will play on at their next away game, said a spokesman, adding that tendering for turf suppliers would happen at a later date.
BAM Construction will start building the huge complex for up to 400 young players with classrooms gym and medical centre shortly. It hopes the academy will be open for the season starting 2014.
Director Ian Fleming said it had taken four years of research and planning for the company to formulate then finalise their plans. Chief executive Graham Cash said customers valued BAM because it did "whatever it takes to deliver expectations."
