The London Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames has posted a tender notice seeking an arboricultural contractor to look after the borough's approximately 13,000 street trees
The principal areas of work are tree surgery, tree planting and control of invasive pests and diseases on trees situated along the borough's roads,in parks, open spaces, housing estates, education and corporate sites.
The duration of the contract will be seven years plus one seven-year extension period at the discretion of the local authority, creating a contract for a maximum length of 14 years.
The value of the contract has been set at between £3,696,000 and £4,335,576.
The tender submission deadline is 8 March 2021.
