Leicester University’s new understanding of ‘sociable’ slug behaviour calls for better pesticide targeting

A University of Leicester study led by Professor Sergei Petrovskii has injected radio-tags into 28 slugs, released them into a crop-growing field and radio-tracked them for 10 hours, recording their behaviour.
