Last chance for growers to submit anonymous survey on relationships with supermarkets

Suppliers to supermarkets have until the end of this week (23 May) to complete an online survey on how well their customers are complying with the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP).

Hosted by opinion research agency YouGov on behalf of Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA) Christine Tacon, the survey will be carried out each year to assess the impact of the code and of the GCA's rule in enforcing it.

Tacon writes in the introduction to the survey: "The detail provided may be used to do focused surveys during the year where there are issues that need more information or understanding before I decide to take action."

It is anonymous, allowing suppliers to speak frankly about issues in the UK groceries supply sector.

The results will be presented at the Groceries Code Adjudicator Conference in London on 23 June.
