Landscapers' body APL to contrast good and bad landscape practice at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

The Association of Professional Landscapes (APL) is launching Landscaping Live at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (July 9-14).

The 'how to' section is part of the Low Cost, High Impact gardens in the Inspire section of the show and APL members will lay turf, build decking and plant trees and shrubs.

The garden has been designed by APL chairman Mark Gregory of Landform Consultants.

Next to this garden will be a second garden space that demonstrates the opposite of the professional approach.

APL landscapers and staff have helped to create the four gardens in the Low Cost High Impact category at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show for the past two years.

Gregory said: "This is a first for both the APL and RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.  We want to show the public that by using an APL accredited landscaper, you can rely on receiving a high standard and quality of work and also that having a beautifully landscaped garden won’t necessarily cost you the earth."
