Chelsea judges liked the high quality presentation on the stand, designed by BALI associate designer Charlotte Murrell.

BALI contractors Transform Landscapes, Nigel Jeffries Landscaping, The Outdoor Room and E Williams Landscapes built the stand with logistics support from Quadron Services.

Murrell said: "I am delighted for BALI, and especially for the guys who worked so very hard to pull this together and deliver a stand worthy of the Association and its membership. I would like to thank them all for their terrific support and for being such a pleasure to work with under pressure."

Chief operations officer Wayne Grills congratulated and thanked those involved.

"This has been a real team effort," he said.

The BALI stand is being manned throughout this week by BALI staff and representatives from each of the contractors and suppliers.

Chelsea Flower Show runs until Saturday.
