Landscape Institute awards call for entries

The Landscape Institute Awards 2009 are now open for entries, despite the financial turmoil at the body.

Registration for the Landscape Institute Awards is open until 9 April, and completed entries must be returned by 26 June.

The awards cover 14 categories, ranging from student dissertation, to strategic landscape planning.

Judging for the awards - which aim to "encourage and recognise outstanding examples of work by the landscape profession" - will take place from July to October.

The awards ceremony will take place on 19 November 2009.

For the latest news on the Landscape Institute's financial status - including details on its new library committee, subscription increases, and plans to move - see Horticulture Week magazine, 20 March.
