Landscape firm revealed for school and park projects

Company wins bid as lead consultant in £250m programme

Capita Symonds has been selected as the preferred bidder for Lancashire County Council’s flagship £250m Building Schools for the Future programme. The company is providing partnering and education services as lead consultant for the design team, including architecture, landscape design, cost management and civil and structural engineering. Work on the project is expected to begin in the autumn. L TEP has been appointed by the Friends of Poolsbrook Country Park in Chesterfield to prepare a feasibility study for the development of the 73ha country park. The study will primarily focus on pools and consider the opportunities for potential links with neighbouring sites.
