Landscape design students prepare for RHS Spring Flower Show in Cardiff

Landscape design students at Bridgend College in South Wales are putting the final touches to their garden for the RHS Spring Flower Show in Cardiff this week.

The Law of Motion garden is inspired by the concept of life as a journey, said student Kristina Mould.

Undulations of turf filled with different types of pine cone feature in the landscape, along with a large pine tree at the front of the garden.

Ferns have been grown at the college and will be used along with trees sourced from Wyevale Nurseries.

The landscape design students began building their 40sq m garden yesterday (13 April) in preparation for the show, which runs on 17-19 April.
