Landscape contractor duo to run London Marathon to support Chelsea Flower Show charity sponsor

A pair of landscape contractors are in training for the London Marathon to raise cash for the charity sponsor of their RHS Chelsea show garden.

Landform Consultants managing director Mark Gregory and contracts director Matt Moore are raising cash for The Children's Society, which is sponsoring their Chelsea garden.

Mark Gregory, who is also vice-chairman of the Association of Professional Landscapers, said it would be a big challenge for them both.

"I'm just about to turn 49, having never run or done anything quite like this before so it is a big challenge," said Mark Gregory.
"We are committed to run, ideally in a decent time, and raise money for this good cause. I know things are tough and money tight, but would ask people to dig deep and support us both."

The pair have already raised almost £3,000 in donations from friends including garden designer Andy Sturgeon, and hope to raise more.
