KLC alumni shortlisted for hospice garden

Three garden design graduates are in the running to design a children's hospice garden for Greenfingers.

London school KLC asked garden design alumni this spring to design an area dedicated solely for teenagers at a new children's hospice, The Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, to be opened in Maidenhead next year.

KLC has now announced the candidates: Nicky Vietch, Rachel Parker Soden and Rosie Nottage. They will present to a panel of judges in early October.

The winner’s garden will be implemented next year at the hospice.

The latest Greenfingers garden to open was Chestnut Tree House children's hospice in West Sussex, desigend by Ann-Marie Powell Gardens and built by Garden House Design.

A 44th garden at Little Haven's Children's Hospice in Essex is underway, with Eden Horticulture building it.

Boyd Douglas-Davies is a new Greenfingers trustee, replacing Chris Webb.
