Kit manufacturer Wessex moves to Andover

Groundscare equipment manufacturer changes its trading name and location

Groundscare and agricultural equipment manufacturer Wessex has moved from Bordon to Andover in Hampshire and adopted the name Wessex International as part of the Broadwood International portfolio.

Managing director Charles Browning said: "The company ownership, registration and personnel remain unchanged and we will continue to provide the same sales and service on the SnowEx and SweepEx product lines, as with all other brands in what has been the Broadwood International portfolio."

The new 5,000 sqm factory provides a larger manufacturing capacity together with a showroom and dealer training facilities. The move allows the business to have all its facilities under one roof with improved transport links and close proximity to the A34 and M3.
