Kieft Seeds moves Economy range to new firm EconSeeds

Kieft Seeds Holland recently transferred its Economy seed range to new company EconSeeds, which is owned and managed by former Kieft Seeds production manager Hans Veenstra.

A Kieft Seeds Holland representative said the company would now "focus solely on our professional Kieft-Pro-Seeds assortment".

The division was intended "to improve our service and intensify the co-operation with our Kieft-Pro-Seeds customers".

The EconSeeds product range includes perennials and conventional annuals for direct seeding, as well as wildflower mixes. In addition, the company offers custom-made mixtures.

Veenstra explained that EconSeeds aims "to maintain this quality in service and improve supply by a better and more direct approach of our customers".

He commented: "With a wide range of flower seeds from our own production sites, we are able to offer small bulk and a low minimum-order threshold, and assure good customer service from our warehouse team."

Activities such as purchase and delivery will continue from the Kieft Seeds site in Venhuizen, Holland, until EconSeeds moves in September to new premises, which are currently being built.

EconSeeds has guaranteed to continue discount arrangements struck with Kieft, and the current Kieft Economy pricelist can still be used for the next nine months.

Generations of ordinary British people have been let down by weak, visionless leaders -- politicians more engaged by the next election than our national best interest.
