Pencharz, part of Mayor Boris Johnson’s senior team, will outline the importance of London’s landscape and Johnson’s urban greening plans, at the conference on Monday.
The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) is aiming its conference which takes place in London at landscape architects, green space experts, landscapers, horticulturists, planners, local authorities and health authorities.
AIPH secretary general Tim Briercliffe said: "It demonstrates the importance of the event that the Greater London Authority has provided such a key policy advisor to represent it.
"We really have a great line up of UK and international speakers."
Pencharz advises on carbon emissions, energy, improving air quality, green space, waste policy, water efficiency, drainage and making London more resilient in the face of more extreme weather.
