Kew graduates seek former students for a reunion

HW readers have been asked if they can track down Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Diploma graduates for a 30th anniversary reunion at Roots and Shoots in Lambeth on 24 July.

Two former students, Linda Phillips, director of Roots and Shoots, and Peter Thurman, who runs an arboricultural and horticultural consultancy in Sussex, have organised the event.

They said the reunion, called the Hardy Perennials, "promises to be an international and jolly affair" with horticulturists travelling from the US, Bermuda and France and across the UK. Joining the former students will be curators and teachers past and present including Leo Pemberton and Hans Fliegner.
