The high-quality service and "stunning" garden and landscape schemes of entrants to the BALI National Landscape Awards 2011 have been hailed by the judges as the winners were announced.

Judging panel chair Greg Allen said: "Despite the difficulties of such a harsh winter and the tough economic climate, BALI contractors across the broad spectrum of our industry have shown their ability for high-quality service, to provide stunning garden and landscape maintenance and design, and to build schemes."

Design Excellence and International categories were outstanding, he added, while the panel was "hugely impressed" by entrants' work in the 35th year of the sector's leading awards scheme, now run in association with HW.

Principal winners and the winner of the BALI Grand Award, sponsored by Rigby Taylor, will be revealed at the BALI National Landscape Awards ceremony, which takes place on 2 December in the Great Room of London's Grosvenor House.

To book your place at the awards, see www.baliawards.co.uk, call 020 8267 4161 or email alessandra.zorzato@haymarket.com.
