Fermoy's director Alan Murdoch says all the staff at the Devon centre, which has been leased by Blue Diamond last week from owners the Ford bothers, are keeping their jobs.
Murdoch's role will expand with him looking after the Ford brothers' remaining three Value House garden centres, and working with Blue Diamond managing director Alan Roper on buying and community engagement.
Murdoch said: "It was the one larger company I'd like to have come into and I indicated that to the management a year ago.
"Everyone continues in their jobs. No-one has asked to leave or been pushed out."
Murdoch said Fermoy's net profit had increased this year while turnover was steady.
He said Fermoy's ranges would change to become more like Blue Diamond's.
