Italian international horticulture event expands

Northern Italy will play host to the prestigious Flormart, the International Exhibition of Horticulture, Green and Landscape, in September.

From business leaders to landscape gardeners, green-fingered experts will head to the Fiera di Padova exhibition grounds for the three-day event, between 21-23 September, in the city of Padova.

Knowledge sharing

With deep roots in the Italian horticulture scene, this will be the 71st edition of Flormart and celebrates all things green (white and red).

International exhibition specialist Fiere di Parma has been brought on board to run the event and grow Flormart’s ambitions of becoming one of the premier international horticultural events.

The exhibition will bring together key stakeholders, suppliers and operators from different aspects of the horticulture supply chain from across Europe. Businesses that work in areas such as production, research and innovation, technology, design, and constriction will be able to share knowledge and expertise with traders and private end-users.

The future of green

Central discussion points and themes at Flormart will include promoting and enhancing the image of Italian horticulture products in domestic and foreign markets, and the importance of green spaces in sustainable cities.

Sustainability and green causes are firmly planted at the heart of the Flormart experience. From latest green innovations to the role of horticulture in smart cities, renewable energy is a growing focus of the exhibition.
