Ireland horticulture showcase set for 25 July

The Garden Landscape Amenity Showcase (GLAS) is to be held at Citywest Dublin on 25 July.

The event is supported by Bord Bia and is aimed at the horticulture, sports turf and amenity sector.

The core focus is on amenity horticulture for the retail and landscaping sectors. Last year, the event expanded into forestry, greenkeeping and sports turf.

The Sportsturf Village & Machinery Park in association with the Irish Institute of Sports Surfaces is a feature of the event and includes more than 20 exhibitors.

More than 1,000 visitors attended in 2012. Around 100 exhibitors will show altogether.
