IoG Saltex organisers reveal results of visitor survey

The results of a survey among visitors to last year's IoG Saltex trade show reveal those involved in purchasing decisions would no normally see any non-supplier sales representatives in an average month.

The survey revealed that only 21 per cent of visitors see one non-supplier sales representative in an average month, and 27 per cent see two or three per month.

Out of the visitors surveyed, 26 per cent were first time visitors to the show last year, and 22 per cent had visited in earlier years but not in 2009.

IoG Saltex sales director Clare Johnson  said:  "This reinforces one of the IoG Saltex ‘mantras’ that the show is the only place where exhibitors can meet a pool of hitherto ‘unknown’ decision-makers and prospective new suppliers.

"It is clear that companies which do not exhibit at IoG Saltex are missing out on an enormous pool of potential business."

This year’s show will take place on 6-8 September at Windsor Racecourse, Berks.
