Interception: thrips on Solanum melongena

Read on for the latest pest and disease interception.

Two consignments of aubergine (Solanum melongena) have been found to be affected by thrips at Heathrow Airport.

One consignment from Ghana and another from Dominican Republic were intercepted on 16 April. 

The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) destroyed the plants.
