Ikea continues push into outdoor living market

Ikea is continuing its push in the outdoor living market with the launch of its spring garden furniture offer.

The retailer expanded its outdoor living offer in 2013 and has a big range of garden products available for 2014.

Under the 'Dreaming of summer' strapline, Ikea's outdoor products focus on "contemporary style, kid-friendliness and balcony heroes" the company said.

The range includes a modular low seating series, a dining series, children’s furniture with added UV protection, a balcony table, a plant stand which uses corner space for vertical shelving, parasol, fire basket, charcoal barbeque and trolley.

Details of plant and other outdoor offers are to be announced.
