The recently appointed UK top Cricket Club Groundsman for 2010 has praised Yorkshire-based seeds specialists Hurrells Seeds.

South Northumberland Cricket Club head groundsman John Dodds was recently awarded the Cricket World/Pitchcare Cricket Groundsman of the Year Award 2010 and has attributed his success to Hurrells Seeds.

Dodds said:  "I have used Hurrells Seeds grass mixes for all my cricket requirements and have always found their performance and quality second-to-none."

Hurrells managing director Nick Gladstone said:  "We are absolutely delighted to be mentioned by John as one of the ingredients in his recipe for success.

"Many of our seeds are bespoke and this, combined with our team’s specialist knowledge, has enabled us to provide the very best for cricket grounds up and down the country

"We congratulate John on his success and look forward to our relationship with him and his cricket club going from strength to strength."
