HTA's Private Members Bill

The HTA's Private Members' Bill, introduced in the House of Lords on 10 March (HW, 13 March) to amend the Sunday Trading Act 1994 and extend the hours that garden centres can trade on a Sunday and to open on Easter Sunday, will receive a second reading on 16 May. The bill's sponsor, the Earl of Courtown (pictured left with HTA director-general David Gwyther), will introduce the debate.
