The contract will run for five years initially, starting on January 2 2015, with an option to extend for five further years.
London & Quadrant has four geographical lots to fill and will appoint between two and four contractors to provide routine and responsive grounds maintenance, arboriculture and a four-hour emergency call out.
It expects to spend between £2m and £2.5 million a year.
The lots are:
- North and north east neighbourhoods - approximately 240 estates with a total estimated annual value of £453,000.
- South east and Thames neighbourhoods - approximately 315 Estates with a total estimated annual value of £763,000.
- South and south west neighbourhoods - Approximately 340 Estates with an estimated annual value of £675,000.
- West neighbourhood - approximately 230 estates with an estimated annual value of £417,000.
