Hortus Loci supplies 70,000 plants to RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

Hampshire nursery Hortus Loci is supplying 70,000 perennials to RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show gardens, including those designed by Chris Beardshaw for McCarthy & Stone and Matthew Childs’ Ecover Garden.
In the ‘Conceptual’ section, the nursery has grown for Catherine Macdonald’s garden including red and orange Kangaroo Paws and Anizoganthus hybrid Nana, Dianthus cruentus, and Pilosella aurantiaca.
Most of the plants for the Association of Professional Landscapers' stand designed by Claudia de Yong have been supplied by Hortus Loci too and most of those for the Ecover planters. A series of containers being planted up by various gardening world luminaries such as Matthew Wilson, Jekka McVicar and Ann-Marie Powell are Hortus Loci-grown.
In the ‘Escape’ category, more Hortus Loci home grown plants are on show in a range of gardens including Becky Govier’s Macmillan Garden, Paul Martin's productive contemporary garden and Ruth Marshall's Spa Garden.
In 2012 Hortus Loci supplied 17 gardens, making six deliveries per day for six days. The gardens it supplied won four RHS Gold Medals including best in show and the people’s choice award.
