Horticulture Week Podcast: Visiting Ball Colegrave post-lockdown plant trials with Stuart Lowen and Steve Austin

Ball Colegrave's perennial business unit manager Steve Austin and marketing manager Stuart Lowen discuss the nursery's July trials, how it tackled the coronavirus crisis and plans for the future.

The Oxfordshire seed and young plant company's plant trials is one of the few UK horticulture events to be held this year after coronavirus caused mass cancellations.

Austin and Lowen speak about their rollercoaster season and their strategy to increase their perennial offering so it may eventually match seasonal bedding in popularity.

The pair recommend their top plants for 2021 and beyond and explain how horticulture will change post-pandemic.
