Horticultural products supplier hit by fire

Fire has damaged the premises of a horticulture products supplier in Crewe.

Two dozen firefighters rushed to the scene at J F Hutchins after a fire broke out on the afternoon of 27 January.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service do not believe the large blaze that gutted buildings at JFH Horticultural Supplies was started deliberately.

At its peak, five fire engines from Crewe, Sandbach, Holmes Chapel and Middlewich fought back the flames.

Established more than 40 years ago, JFH Horticultural Supplies supplies compost, plastics and sundries to the professional horticulture industry.
