Horticultural Development Company board appoints independent representatives

The Horticultural Development Company has appointed scientist Alison Spaull, garden industry and business consultant Neville Stein and TOPS nursery director Lynden Stowe to its board as independent representatives.

The full HDC board is Neil Bragg (chairman), Paul Singleton (vice-chairman, Nigel Kitney (tree fruit), Marion Regan (soft fruit), Mike Mann (protected ornamentals), Martin Emmett (hardy nursery stock), John Sedgwick (field vegetables), Martin Evans (field vegetables) Gary Taylor (protected edibles), Alison Spaull (independent), Neville Stein (independent) and Lynden Stowe (independent).

Ian Ashton and Carol Paris have left the board.
