Highways accreditation won by Acorn Tree Surgery

Acorn Tree Surgery (ATS) has been awarded National Highways Sector Scheme 18 accreditation. The scheme was launched at IoG Saltex in 2008.

ATS managing director Kevin O'Rourke said: "We have worked on numerous highways contracts over the past ten years." He added that the accreditation built on the firm's "strong environmental platform".

"We are delighted to have been awarded the accreditation and we believe that it clearly demonstrates our commitment to maintaining highway vegetation and trees for both the Highways Agency and local authorities across the UK."
