Highfield Garden World scoops two regional business awards

Highfield Garden World has scooped two business awards in its home county of Gloucestershire.
In its first year of entering the annual Stroud Life Business Awards, Highfield started by winning in its chosen category of ‘Family Business of the Year’, and was crowned overall winner of the event as ‘Business of the Year’.
The business was founded in 1987 and is still run by the Greenway family. Earlier this year the business embarked on a £2m+ redevelopment of its site, which is on track for an autumn launch.
The work will increase retail space to 5,300m², and the end result will include a new 260 cover restaurant.
Owner Tim Greenway said:  "We hoped we were in the running to win ‘Family Business of the Year’, but to scoop the big prize as well was a lovely surprise. It’s always welcome to have hard work recognised, and this has been a real boost for the whole team here."
