A magnificent, perennial, alpine, sub-shrub, native to many parts of mountainous Africa.
With textured, tough, silvery-grey, slightly woolly foliage to mid-summer that will hug containers and scramble over borders and beds. It produces masses of yellow flower heads on short stems, similar to that of an Achillea.
