Haymarket puts on BALI awards

Horticulture Week, which is owned by Haymarket Media Group, is delighted to announce that Haymarket Events is to take on the organisation of the prestigious BALI National Landscape Awards.

The awards - first introduced in 1976 to recognise individuals and businesses that had demonstrated exceptionally high standards of skill and professionalism - have steadily grown in popularity reaching a peak in 2008 of 830 attendees at the scheme's high-profile presentation event held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.

BALI chairman Richard Gardiner said: "The proposal from Haymarket Events, which includes promoting the BALI national landscape awards as the landscape industry's premier awards event, will bring major benefits to the association and the wider industry."

The arrangements take effect immediately and Haymarket will be organising the 2010 awards ceremony, taking place in December.

The entry and judging process will continue to be administered and invigilated by BALI, which has announced two new designer categories and acceptance of entries from BALI probationary members.

To find out how your business can benefit from supporting the BALI awards, and for information on the packages available, please contact Jennie Meynell on 020 8267 8089 or email jennie.meynell@haymarket.com.
