Hadlow to have free secondary school for people to learn in land-based environment

A free secondary school is planned to open in September 2013 within the campus of Hadlow College in Tonbridge, Kent.

The Hadlow Rural Community School will be housed in new purpose-built premises.

Conceived with a "rural ethos", the semi-independent establishment will aim to develop exciting new educational opportunities for young people to learn in a land-based environment. Hadlow College supports the move.

A series of three consultation events - at Grange Moor Hotel, Langley Hotel and Kings Hill Community Centre - will be held throughout next month.
